 This policy covers all products sold on the Chris Salmon website.

 1.    Delivery

• All artworks are delivered via Royal Mail Special Delivery and are insured up to the purchase price amount.

• Once you have placed your order and the payment has cleared, items will be dispatched within 3 working days and you will be provided with a tracking number.

• Prints and drawings are usually rolled in acid-free tissue paper and posted in a tube. Other artworks, such as paintings, are usually placed between acid-free tissue paper and card and posted flat.

• Items will be properly and securely packed. Royal Mail is responsible for the artwork while in transit. Therefore, in the unlikely event of artworks being damaged during delivery, the customer would need to use the tracking information to raise the issue with Royal Mail and receive compensation from Royal Mail.

2.    Artworks

• All artworks are original and hand-made by Christopher Salmon.

• All artworks are sold unmounted and unframed.

• All artworks pictured on the website are cropped to the image and do not show the surrounding paper. If your require an image of the artwork in full, please contact rainbowsalmon@hotmail.co.uk before purchasing.

• The dimensions provided are for the image only and are approximate to the nearest centimetre. To confirm the size and discuss any queries about artworks, please contact rainbowsalmon@hotmail.co.uk before purchasing.

• All artworks have been photographed or scanned to display their colouring and texture to the most accuracy, however due to the varying qualities of viewing screens, the colours in the image may differ slightly when viewing the artwork in person.

3.    Payment

• Please contact rainbowsalmon@hotmail.co.uk to confirm payment arrangements.

• Payment can be made by bank transfer, cheque, or cash in person (covid-measures permitting).

• Payment must be received in full (e.g. cheque must clear) before the artwork can be delivered. Please bear this in mind if you need the artwork for a specific deadline.

4.    Returns

• If you are not happy with your item you have the right to return it within 14 days of receiving it.

• If you would like to exercise your right to return the item please email rainbowsalmon@hotmail.co.uk to request a return within 14 days from the day you receive the item.

• A full refund (excluding delivery costs) will be given if the item is returned in the same condition and packaging as when it was delivered. If the item is returned with damage that was not present at the time of purchase then a refund cannot be offered.

• Return postage costs are the responsibility of the customer.

• Returns are not available for commissions and personalised artworks.

6.    Your Data & Privacy

• We are committed to your privacy and will treat your personal data with respect. We will not share your information with any third parties unless required by law.

• We will collect and store your name, email address, postal address, billing address and telephone number if you make a purchase with us. This data will be used to contact you regarding your purchase and to post your goods. This data will be stored securely.

• When purchasing goods from us your data will be processed through the chosen payment system.

• If you sign up to our emailing list, we will collect and store your name and email address. This data will be stored securely.

• If you have signed up to our emailing list or made a purchase from us, we may contact you via email about new products and other information regarding Chris Salmon artworks. If you do not wish to receive these emails, please reply to the e-mail to request to be removed.
